Welcome to Broomfield Football Club. The club was established in 1905 and runs teams for all ages.  Our aim is to provide a structured Football Club that offers all players steady development as they progress through the age groups.



September 6th 2010 was a landmark date in the club's history when it was awarded the prestigeous FA Charter Standard, the certificate and plaque was presented to the club on October 18th 2010. In July 2011 the club was awarded Essex FA Charter Standard Club of the Year for the first time, a fantastic achievement by all concerned. We were equally pleased to win this accolade for the second time in three years in 2013.

For the 2022/23 season we have 8 Senior teams including a Super Vets, Vets and Ladies team and 31 Youth teams including five girl's teams.  There is also an extremely popular soccer school on Saturday mornings for 5 to 7 year olds.

All our teams benefit from at least one FA qualified coach. The football philosophy for the youth teams is to encourage skill, development and technique – not to win at all costs. We want to develop well rounded footballers who love the game – not turn children away from football as the pressure & demands become too much for them.

With many thanks to Essex FA and the Football Foundation, our clubhouse opened for business in January 2017. This offers four changing rooms, two rooms for match officials as well as a bar and a kitchen serving hot food on match days.
