So, we march on, playing for silverware on 4 fronts after todays very good win in the Essex County Trophy and yet another game where we score 7 goals, This time the hatrick hero was Andrew Roche, backed up with 2 each from Ben Hampton and Lewis Bulmer, however it could have been so different with the score at 1-1 Matt Newton turned back the clock to pull off the save of the season so far, leaping to the top corner like a cat with his arse on fire, to push the ball over the bar, they say you never lose it, well Matt Newton you turned the game today. Excellent performances from everyone again, it seems that the rotation policy is working, everyone is keen, fresh and it makes it difficult for the opposition, Last 16 in county trophy now guys, League cup 1/4 next week and then back to the league in December, lets hope we can keep it going and have a well earned break at Christmas.
