Following two successful seasons in the Pope and Smith Chelmsford Sunday League with successive promotions the Sparta boys find themselves in Premier Division A, a league of the top 6 teams. The challenge ahead is to now show they are worthy of the status of one of the top 6 Sunday sides in the Chelmsford and surrounding area.

The squad has been strengthened ahead of the new season with some familiar faces returning to Broomfield FC after a few years away and further commitment from the existing squad making for competition for places and a good depth in the squad to allow for injuries or other commitments.
