Following on from our very successful season in 2015/16 we embarked on a new challenge moving from Div 3 to Div 1. Another challenging season lay ahead none more than having to play Premier County cup where we travelled to Clacton only to lose with the last kick of the game in extra time after we had missed a potential winning penalty. The domestic season started well with good league and cup wins but then we had a wake up call by getting heavily beat by the eventual league champions. by the end of the season we had finished League Runners up, MF Trophy Runners up and League cup winners as well as losing the semi final of the GS trophy to the premier league champions.
Another rebuild for the new season following many departures, 8 out and 6 in with yet another new challenge, this time its the Premier Division, the target was to reach this stage after 5yrs, it has been done in three.
